Labels¶

Add and style atom/residue labels in the viewer.

Shortcut¶

/label [selection]      → /labels smart [selection]
/label clear            → /labels clear

Apply smart labels (auto-selects label content based on context).

/label ligand           # Labels ligand atoms
/label resi 45          # Labels residue 45

Apply custom labels.

/labels label protein resn+resi
/labels label ligand name

Remove all labels.

/label clear
/labels clear protein

Set label color.

/labels color white
/labels color yellow ligand

Set label font size.

/labels font 14

Toggle label outline for readability.

/labels outline on
/labels outline off

Set label size.

/labels size 20

Create a pseudoatom with a label at a specific position.

/labels pseudoatom "Active Site" 10.5 20.3 15.7
